Eye Strengthening Exercises

    Swing Left to Right

    • The first exercise is an easy one to perform. Relax your face and rest your eyes on a point in the distance. Swing from left to right, gently. Keep the eyes on that point in front of you. Do this from 50 to 100 times per day, but be sure to blink often as this helps moisten and rejuvenate the eyes.

    Choose a Color

    • This exercise is about choosing and recognizing color. Choose one color each day to focus on and pay close attention to. Notice the variations in the color and the shade of the color in particular. Choose a different color every day of the week.

    Look at Your Nose

    • This one is easy enough; just look at your nose. Focus your eyes on the very tip of your nose. Hold that gaze without blinking for as long as possible. Then, close your eyes and relax them.

    Look at Your Shoulders

    • Look at your left shoulder without turning your head. Use both eyes to focus on that left shoulder for as long as you can. Then, switch to the right shoulder. Close your eyes and relax them in between the shoulders to allow the eyes to rest and re-lubricate.
