You will see a form that asks you to type in the first and last name of the sex offender for whom you are searching. If you do not have a name or a particular person you are hunting, select the option for conducting an advanced search.

    • 2). Conduct an advanced search. You may search by state/territory/Indian country, county, city or town and up to five zip codes at one time. After you enter the information for the desired location, click "Search."

    • 3). Search the results. If any sex offenders live in your town, they should show up in the list. Click on each name to see what offense the person committed. You will see a picture of the registered sex offender and receive a physical description. You will get the registered sex offender's address and when his address was last verified. The details also disclose his offense. If he molested a child, the details will confirm the crime.

    • 4). Verify your findings with local law enforcement. This website takes information from state sex offender registries. If you want more information on the child molester, call your local law enforcement agency.
