There are many options to earn more money without extensive training or schooling.
Pet sitting is a great way to earn extra income if you enjoy spending time with animals, for teens or their parents! Some clients will ask you to spend the night with their pet, which can garner a higher wage.
House sitting is another task that can be combined with pet sitting, or offered separately.
Clients may ask you to bring in their mail and delivery packages, water plants, set out the garbage, and send out payments.
Another service you can offer is completing errands for clients.
Such errands include; picking up/dropping off dry cleaning, dropping off packages to be mailed, going to the market to stock the cabinets and refrigerator, picking out gift items, or even planning for a dinner party.
The fee you could charge for this might vary a lot depending on the level of service you are giving, the area, and your own experience and confidence.
A fee in the area of $20-$25 per day would be more than reasonable if you are not doing a high level of housework etc.
You could earn more money than this by adding some of the extra services as above.
Good at selling items? eBay is a great site for generating extra income by getting rid of that junk in the garage that you never use anyway.
Another idea is to become an eBay sellers for others.
For a nominal percent you can list items for auction for someone who is unsure how to sell, or too busy to list themselves.
If you like working out doors, there is the option of lawn mowing and landscaping.
Unless you have prior knowledge of landscaping, promoting yourself as a landscaper is unwise.
However you could advertise as available for pulling weeds from flower beds, trimming back unruly trees, vines and bushes, and weed eating as services available to compliment lawn work done for extra income.
