Italian Style Turkey Gravy

While many people are going towards the traditional turkey gravy for the holidays, you might find yourself wanting to change things up.

This simple to make variation is full of flavor and will certainly bring out the flavors of the turkey that you make, without creating too much concern for your family during the holidays.

You see, like other sauces in Italy, there is a tomato base that is used for this.
While you might be raising your eyes now, you will not find anything more delicious than this alternative.
In fact, you can host an Italian themed event and have people bring some of their favorite dishes and still serve the traditional favorites blended with this European styles tradition.
Essentially, you will find that this mixture consists of tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and turkey.
They are blended together to perfection and then lightly seasoned with some seasoning from that part of the world.
Of course, if you want to change things up, you might consider adding in wine or other items that will enhance the level of flavor and feeling that you are looking to get from your meals.

Italian Turkey Gravy What You Will Need
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Clove Minced Garlic
  • 3 Cans Tomato Puree
  • 1 Cup Turkey Stock
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper
How to Make It Begin the process by heating your oil in a pan and then sauté your garlic.
When this is done, add in your stock and then mix in your tomato puree and blend in your Italian seasoning.
Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes and then salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with your meal.
