Quick Coffee Cake
- 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch salt
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream

PreparationCut dough into 32 balls; cover with cloth. Grease two 9-inch round cake pans with nonstick baking spray containing flour; divide chopped nuts evenly in the pans.
In medium bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; stir in butter and heavy cream. Divide this mixture among the prepared pans.
Place 16 balls of dough in each pan. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 30-45 minutes.
While dough is rising, preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
