For example, you may be in a relationship that seems to be chugging along just fine and you feel like it is the real thing and then one day - you find out that your girlfriend feels a completely different way. You find out that she does not feel as strongly for you as you do for her and that can often mean the ending of a relationship. What do you do then? It's not like you are just going to stop loving her the moment that the relationship ends.
You are going to have to find a way to replace that love that you felt when you were with her and that can be hard to do. It's not easy to try and move on when you still feel as though you are in love with someone, but you know that it is one of the healthiest things that you can do. Most of the time, you are just going to have to be patient and know that one day, you will wake up and find that you just don't feel that strongly anymore.
A good way to help speed up that process is to make sure that you keep yourself as socially active as you can. You don't want to just lament over the loss of the relationship and stay focused on the fact that you are feeling strong affection for someone that no longer wants to be with you. If you can, you want to take almost every opportunity that you can get to hang out and socialize with people.
You also want to stay open to the possibility that you may one day find that another woman comes into your life and replaces the woman that you cared about. It can happen, even though it may not seem that likely right now. The more you can distract yourself from feeling so heart broken and the more you can get out and have some fun, the better off you will be no matter what. And you also want to keep in mind that love can happen at the most surprising moments. You never know when the next woman you make eye contact with might just be the woman that you fall in love with, so stay positive.
