How to Work Part-Time for a Company Like FedEx

    • 1). Find a local shop by calling a Fedex center or similiar company to inquire about offices or routes near where you live.

    • 2). Go in for an interview. Tell your prospective employers why you feel you are good for a part-time driving or clerical job with the company. Showcase your strengths and always be polite.

    • 3). Pass the physical and comply with all physical requirements. Make sure the demands of the job are not too much for you and disclose all relevant medical conditions. You may also have to pass substance screening to work at a delivery company.

    • 4). Complete the paperwork. The company will need consent forms, contract documents and personal information including your social security or taxpayer number.

    • 5). Work out a schedule. If you're looking part-time, you probably have some inflexible conditions in your weekly schedule. Work with your new employer to find a schedule you can keep, and stick to it, or you will be out of that job faster than you came in.
